Our mission is to provide powerful dance workouts for the mind, booty, and soul.

Madhouse aims to lift your spirits and your heart rate through the power of dance. We believe everyone, regardless of dance or fitness experience, deserves to feel confidence and self-love through dance. In every class, we remove the pressure of performance from dancing and free you to move your own way. It started out of a pure love for dancing and a lack of outlets to express that love. There weren’t enough inclusive dance classes for people who love dancing but are often intimidated by traditional studios and performance-focused classes. We needed a space to let loose, feel sexy, and get sweaty. Enter Madhouse.

Madhouse classes are designed to be high energy, exciting, and easy to follow. Our instructors spend hours creating and perfecting dance fitness routines so that you can jump right in and enjoy your dance party workout. Our nightclub inspired studio provides dark ambiance and loud music that allows you to release your inhibitions and dance like nobody is watching.

Why dance for exercise?

If you’ve danced at a concert, in a bar, on a stage, in your room, in the rain, or in a dance studio, you have felt the joy that dancing can bring. Dance releases all the happy chemicals we know and love: endorphins, oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Research shows that just 5 minutes of dancing boosts happiness and increases creative thinking patterns.

We connect with the music, we connect with our bodies, and we connect with the people around us. Moving with music allows for creative expression and endless variety that other repetitive forms of exercise cannot provide. Humans are also intensely social creatures, so the socialization aspect of dance creates a sense of belonging, community, and adventure. These elements all work together to make dance an unrivaled form of exercise for improving overall health and happiness.
